William F. Wendel

William "Bill" F. Wendel beloved husband of the late Donna Sue (nee Elliott) Wendel; loving step-father of Kurtus Wendel, James (Denise) Wendel and lovingly referred to as his third son, Josh Marshall; cherished grandfather of Shandi (Kylor) Messmer, Shelby Wendel, Dylan Wendel, Danne Wendel and Juliana Hall; great grandfather of Gibson, Monroe and Ramsey; dear brother of Mary Bradford, Anne Blanchard, John Wendel, Peter Wendel and Edward Wendel; uncle of numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend of Irene Bell. Tuesday July 5, 2022. Age 68. Residence Williamsburg, Ohio. Bill was an amazing mechanic. He rebuilt his first engine at eight years of age. Bill would be considered a "Mr. Fix It" that worked on everything and was a master of it all. He was a member of the Batavia Masonic Lodge # 104. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, OH on Friday July 15, 2022 from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 PM. Masonic service, followed by funeral service, will be 10:00 AM on Saturday July 16, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Hope or Buckeye Hospice.
