Born on December 11, 1934, in Jellico, Tennessee, she exemplified kindness, warmth, and an unwavering spirit that touched everyone she met throughout her life.
Wilma will be remembered fondly by her daughter, Jill (Tim) Cancila, granddaughter Olivia (Gary) Ellison, and great-granddaughter Vivienne Ellison, as well as her cherished sisters, Shirley Leforce and Faye Smith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Ryan; her second husband, William Croley; her son, Timothy Ryan; and her brothers, Jack Creekmore and Paul Creekmore. The love she nurtured extended to a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom carry her memory in their hearts.
Known for her vivacious spirit, Wilma never met a stranger; her ability to connect with others brought joy and comfort to so many. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved filling her home with love, laughter, and the delightful aroma of her cooking and baking. As an active member of her church, she shared her passion for music by singing in the choir, creating a harmonious bond with her fellow congregants and enriching the lives of those around her.
Wilma's compassionate nature and her eagerness to help others served as an enduring example of love and generosity. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Funeral services to honor Wilma's remarkable life will be held at Graceland Memorial Gardens on February 19, 2026. The visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, followed by the funeral service at 12:30 PM.
As we gather to celebrate her life and memory, let us reflect on the love she spread and the many lives she touched. Wilma R. Croley will forever be remembered as a beacon of kindness, a devoted family member, and a friend to all.
