Wolfgang Herbert Olson (Wolf), 62 died June 10, 2016 with his loving wife Gerenee at his side in their Goshen, Ohio home .
Wolf was born November 16, 1953 in Froschham Germany.
Wolf attended and graduated from Greenville Senior High School in 1971. He joined the United States Navy and attended Basic training at Naval Air Station Great Lakes followed by Corpsman Training then Naval Seal Training in San Diego followed by service to our country at Naval Station Puerto Rico, San Diego and Vietnam.
Wolf was known and loved by so many, He is best known for his love of life, willingness to help anyone literally giving the shirt off his back to complete strangers and tireless energy. His work after his service to our country took him to Cincinnati where he worked with his longtime friend Francis Apple in the furniture restoring business, and then he set out to build his now successful Dive Company Freelance Commercial Diving Inc. . .He also worked as an EMT/Paramedic for several Ambulance Companies all the while pursuing his passion for animal/reptile rescue.
Wolf is survived by his wife Gerenee, his mother Hannelore Olson, brothers Dettleff and wife Elaine Olson and Friedrich and wife Ursula Brosch, sister and brother in law Tatja and Doug Schneider, Aunt and Uncle Christa and Ramon Thomas. Father in law Robert Whitsitt, sister in law and brother in law Cherie and Richard Bartone. Numerous Nieces, nephews and cousins.
Help us celebrate the life of Wolf at Pattison Park Lodge, 2228 US Highway 50, Batavia Ohio, 45103 on Monday June 27th at 6pm. We will have a Memorial Service followed by a reception.
